High Performance Strength/Conditioning


What to Expect

The AIRTIME-McMaster Strength & Conditioning Program gives your volleyball athlete access to professional-level training typically reserved for university teams. Hosted in McMaster's High Performance Area, this program bridges the gap between volleyball skills and physical development. Led by Dylan Whitbread, McMaster Volleyball's Strength & Conditioning Manager and Sports Performance Coach, each 90-minute session follows a proven structure: Proper Preparation: Volleyball-specific warm-ups protect joints while preparing athletes for safe, effective training Jump Development: Scientifically-designed exercises that directly improve vertical reach and court coverage Hitting Power: Targeted strength work for the shoulders, core, and posterior chain to generate greater ball velocity Injury Prevention: Balanced training that strengthens vulnerable areas common in volleyball players Performance Education: Athletes learn proper techniques and recovery strategies they can apply throughout their careers With a maximum of 10 athletes per session, your child receives personalized coaching that addresses their specific needs. Unlike generic fitness classes, every exercise directly transfers to volleyball performance—turning physical development into competitive advantage on the court. The program offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate summer commitments and family vacations. Give your athlete the same training approach used by collegiate programs to develop elite volleyball players. All sessions must be used before September 2025.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session start time Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session will result in the session being marked as used with no refund To cancel, use our online booking system or email contact@airtimevolleyball.com Booking & Rescheduling All sessions must be booked at least 9 hours before the session start time No same-day bookings will be accepted less than 9 hours before session start You may reschedule any session without penalty if done at least 24 hours in advance Rescheduling is subject to availability Additional Policies All purchased sessions must be used before September 1, 2025 If McMaster S&C cancels a session, you will be notified and offered alternative dates at no additional cost
